Can I get a shine back on my 1994 Camry before having to go spend $500 0r more for a paint job?

without seeing the condition of the vehicle it is hard to say. If the paint is just faded than yes the luster and shine can be restored. If the clearcoat is etched and peeling, you are out of luck.

Hi Visionride,

How much oxidation is on your car? Is it smooth and faded, or does the surface feel like sandpaper? If it is rough like sandpaper your paint is shot. If it is dull and smooth then there is a chance that it could be restored. We carry a product called Rejuvenator. Rejuvenator will remove moderate oxidation and scratches from the surface. It contains a liquid claybar and a polymer wax. It is a one step product. It will compound and wax in one application. If it is severely oxidized, then I would recommend Tru-Grit compound. Tru-Git will remove severe oxidation and scratches from painted surfaces. Tru-Grit is a cutting compound, but also contains a polishing agent. If you use Tru-Grit compound, then you will have to put a wax over it. (two step application). If you use Rejuvenator, you do not have to wax the surface. Can you send us some pictures of your car?
